B&B actor Matthew Atkinson plays Thomas Forrester on the CBS soap. After Hope Logan rejected Thomas’ marriage proposals he fled town. He went overseas to spend some time alone and contemplate life. Now after his hiatus, Thomas is set to return to Los Angeles. There are a lot of things that have happened since he was gone that will shock him. B&B Matthew Atkinson Returns To Los Angeles
B&B star Matthew Atkinson has taken a hiatus from the hit daytime drama. He enjoyed his time off with his new bride but it’s time for his character Thomas Forrester to make his comeback. Fans have been dying to have him back on their television screens. Now, it’s happening.
Fans will see Thomas Forrester return to their television screens on June 21. He will have a lot to deal with upon his return. Of course, his sister, Steffy Forrester has been keeping him in the loop on some things but since he left town a lot has happened. Sheila Carter is back from the dead and married to Deacon.
Hope and Finn are more accepting of Sheila than they have ever been as well. Plus there appears to be a romance brewing between Thomas’s love interest Hope and his sister’s husband Finn Finnegan. There’s no telling how he will react when he learns Hope is developing feelings for someone else. After all, he’s been trying to get her to accept his marriage proposal.
Soap Opera Digest caught up with Matthew ahead of his Bold and the Beautiful return. He spoke about his return and what he knows about everything that has changed. To ensure he gives his best performance, Matthew said he doesn’t know much about what has happened. He only knows what his character would know.
Huge Shock is Coming To Thomas And Those In Los Angeles
As far as Hope’s infatuation with Finn and everything else that has happened, Matthew said, “From Thomas’s point of view, he knows nothing about it, and so maybe that helps my point of view. I’ll just say I know nothing about it. But yeah, there have definitely been some interesting changes [while] Thomas was out of town.”
Things haven’t just changed for those he cares about in Los Angeles, there is also something different about Thomas as well. Matthew teased fans with what is to come. He said, “Thomas has had one particular very large change in his life since he left town. And when he comes back, it is something that shocks everyone.”
